I would say it's "better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick" for myself. Not much money was spent on it and it kind of shows. It's nice, but not very detailed or in depth. There is a bonus feature on the "making of" this and the other two Toaster movies. It's a minor quibble on my part and does not distract from the program itself. I know it was most likely a choice made for monetary reasons, but I wish Disney would have fixed that. It still has the slight wiggling motion the original video had. The reason I give it just a "good" rating is for the quality of the program itself. When I first bought this for my son on tape years ago, he wanted to see it over and over - it was that appealing. Very good story with nice tunes from Van Dyke Parks. Even though it predates Toy Story it has the same premise from a certain point of view. This feature will have one thinking differently about one's appliances in the same way Toy Story made one think differently about toys. Great kids cartoon that adults can enjoy also.
